Day after escaping from police custody, Undertrial arrested | KNO

Srinagar, March 20 (KNO): A day after an undertrial escaped from Court Complex Srinagar, Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested the accused this evening. "Ishfaq Ahmad Rah son of Abdul Rashid Rah of Kulgam, who had escaped from police custody yesterday at District court Srinagar has been arrested," police spokesman said in a statement issued to KNO. The statement added that Ishfaq was earlier in custody for case FIR no 73/ 2018 of Police station Qazigund. He is involved in many other cases including case FIR No 37/2018 registered in District Kulgam, police said. Ishfaq was arrested today evening by Kulgam Police.(KNO)
